Thanks everyone for your comments. While we do see a lot of tear offs, we’ve been fortunate to be able to restore many beautiful slate roofs in our 25 years of being in business. It’s always a very satisfying project!

Great Tile Roofing Job! We see a lot of tile roofs in our part of the country. Unfortunately, many old tile roofs are torn off and replaced by asphalt shingles, instead of restored.

Nice project. Reusing most of the tiles must have cut down the cost tremendously. It’s really neat when a contractor is truly doing what’s best in their client’s interest. Good job Lukasz!

Thanks, it was a great project! As for the type of flashing, we used custom made copper flashing.

That is a very nice project. It’s great that you could reclaim the existing tiles. What type of flashings did you use?
